Mission Statement:

Harrisburg Designers – to inspire and create dialogue amongst other creatives not necessarily on in the Harrisburg Area.  Our focus is to give an outlet for the creatives and give them a voice. Providing a one stop shop for inspiring tutorials, creative dialogue with one another and advice on best practices. A common area to experience, talk, share and learn from one another.

Who We Are! The Awesome Crew

Shannen Coslow:

Air Drummer extraordinary and I draw robots in paper bags. More importantly I am the fire starter of this website you see before you. I was born and raised in Harrisburg, did some globe trotting and got my MA in Media Art & Design.  I have been working in the design field (mostly as a web designer) for nearly 10yrs, adapting and evolving as I go along.

Michael D. Robinson II:

Okay, let the booing begin: I’m Philadelphia-born and raised. But learning how to spell “Schuylkill” at an early age gave me a leg up on “Susquehanna.” Over the years I’ve scored editorial touchdowns for three professional sports franchises. Stroked fresh coats of paint onto IT white papers. Bullhorned citizens out of Y2K bunkers for an energy company. Spotted lines for the website of a Broadway actress. Different businesses. Varied sizes. One goal: Finding the right voice. Since I was old enough to hold a Crayola, writing stuff that gets people to do stuff is all I’ve ever wanted to do.

Annyrin Armstrong:

Grew up in Amish Territory.  She had to wear a beard to fit in.  Strange on a woman… but it worked.  Classically trained in fine art, but her degree is in new art technologies.  Companies she has worked in the design field with:  Art Institutes, Calavera Comics, Disney Destinations, Canine Companions For Independence, and AT&T.
